That’s right, you are off the hook, you don’t have to listen to my podcast.
I say this because, I have had a couple of people say to me “I haven’t had a chance to check out your show”. I know that this is often code for “I listened but, man, not my thing”. That is okay. Just because I do a podcast, and you do a podcast, doesn’t mean you have to listen to me, even if I listen to you.
The only thing that I ask is that if you come across someone who you think might like my show, or any other show, you reccomend it and even send them a link. I can’t listen to every podcast out there. I do, however, try and keep up on the types of shows out there so that when a family member or friend gets an ipod I have an idea of which shows to suggest to them.
The best way for us (the podcasters) to build the audience is not to listen to each other, but to start suggesting the right shows to the right people.
